Fuel economy: Fuel economy claims are based on laboratory tests utilizing ISO 8178-4 and boat tests performed at Bombardier facilities. Actual fuel usage will vary depending on the boat, payload, operating conditions, propeller and driving habits.
**Power Ratings: Evinrude® outboards are power rated in accordance with NMMA procedure using the International Council of Marine Industry Associates (ICOMIA) standard 28/83.
Remote Control: Not supplied with engine.
For all models, a wide variety of props are available at extra cost. A full line of SSTII , Raker®, Viper™ and Renegade® propellers are available for standard and counter-rotation models.
Maximum Boat Horsepower: By law, most outboard boats up to 20 feet in length must carry a plate certifying the maximum horsepower permitted under U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
Fuel Facts: Use unleaded automotive gasoline with an octane rating equal to or higher than 87 pump-posted for 75-250 HP models. Using unleaded gasoline that contains methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) is acceptable ONLY if the MTBE content does not exceed 15%. Using alcohol-extended fuels is acceptable ONLY if the alcohol content does not exceed 10% ethanol or 5% methanol and 5% cosolvents (for further information see your Operator’s Guide).
Note: Please follow the lubricant information in your Operator’s Guide. Evinrude Ficht® Ram Injection Oil is recommended for Evinrude outboards.
Warranty: A full statement of the coverage terms and conditions applying to the Evinrude outboard Limited Warranty has been furnished to Evinrude dealers for inspection at the point of sale and is included with the Operator’s guide furnished with each motor.
